About Me

As a child, the possibilities for future careers were endless.

I remember an exercise that I had in first grade where we had to write down what we wanted to be when we grew up and why. I always loved design and working with my hands so I decided that I wanted to be an architect. I began fantasizing about designing buildings and thought I had my future all planned out. As I grew older, one thing I began to learn was that we are continuously evolving. Our interests change as does the world around us. As time progressed, I traded in my Legos and model trains for computers.

Growing up as a member of the millennial generation, technology was changing on almost a daily basis. Any time a new gadget came out on the market, I felt the urge to become the expert in the newest cutting edge of technology.

What I loved most, was mastering new technology and then using the tools I had learned to help others.

As I matriculated into college at the University of Michigan, I began my educational journey as an engineering student. What better way to pursue my love for technology than with a degree in computer engineering? Time went on during my college years and my future career interests changed from engineering to dentistry, but my passion for technology and helping others stayed the same.

Dentistry was the perfect combination of design, working with my hands, and making a difference in others lives.

It was an added bonus that I had been exposed to it at an early age through my father who is also a dentist. After completing undergrad, I continued my education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

I was blessed to meet my wife, Amira, while in college. She also attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In July of 2016, we opened Caring Smiles Family Dentistry, PC, to patients of all ages. The dental practice is located inside the Beaumont Medical Center in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

Although I love dentistry and am blessed to be able to help educate and treat my patients, I refuse to be put into a box.

I have so much more to offer through my life experiences that I want to share with others.

The greatest joy in life is helping others and seeing them succeed. I am more than a dentist.

What are you more than?

Don't let society put you in a box. You are more than just a title.
